Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), in collaboration with Delta Tech and Future Technologies, organized a workshop on “SS7 and Diameter security” for traditional Telecom services and 4G services at National Incubation Center (NIC), Islamabad to raising security awareness among our licenses and relevant stake holders. The participants were introduced to strategies, advanced techniques to proactively counter security attacks on SS7 protocol and Diameter protocol, which are used for traditional Telecom and 4G services, respectively. The workshop was conducted by Jimmy Jones from Positive Technologies, who has vast technical experience of the telecom security tools, at the international level.
